Keeping Up with the Joneses, by Arthur "Pop" Momand

Example of Keeping Up with the Joneses daily by Arthur "Pop" Momand, December 5, 1931.  Copyright The Associated Newspapers.  Art board size:  18 3/4" x 7".  This particular story is titled "The War Starts".  There's a 1 1/2" horizontal tear in the upper left margin of the strip right below the title but it doesn't affect the art.  There is a horizontal crease that continues from the tear across the entire top of the board, but again the art isn't affected.  The board has yellowed considerably with age.

 

Reverse of Keeping Up with the Joneses daily for December 5, 1931.  There's an interesting rough pencil sketch of two men pulling a rope knee deep in water.
